Former Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is back in the city this week to attend the Manchester International Festival.
The Spaniard spent eight seasons at Old Trafford and departed to join Galatasaray last summer. The 35-year-old helped the Turkish outfit win the league title in his debut season.
Mata has been seen back in Manchester this week with an appearance at the Manchester International Festival. He is combining two passions in his life, football and art, and will debut his new project 'The Trequartista: Art and Football United'.
Mata is working with the German-Indian artist Tino Sehgal for the piece, which will feature in the National Football Museum and the Whitworth Gallery.
