The Queen and Prince Philip had four children together and of them, one daughter who is Princess Anne. In the days following Her Majesty’s death on September 8, there have been many changes in the royal household as Anne’s elder brother takes on the role of monarch as King Charles III.
However, for Anne, 72, the title of Princess Royal, which was bestowed upon her in 1987, remains as she is the Queen’s eldest daughter.The title Princess Royal is typically bestowed upon the eldest daughter of the monarch and as King Charles does any daughters, the title will remain with Princess Anne until the day she dies.
