But on his most recent outing, ahead of Euro 2020, Southgate performed something of a sartorial volte-face.The manager took to the touchline last weekend in a much more casual form of dress; a button-fronted polo shirt, worn with a grey suit, in lieu of a waistcoat, tie and cufflinks.
The polo shirt is by British menswear label Percival, of which Southgate has just become the face, and comes with some neat piping and ribbing.
