Why CNN's Jim Acosta Is Exiting the Network

CNN journalist Jim Acosta is reportedly going to exit the network amid changes that are coming. There are lots of reports circulating around about what possibly might have happened.

First, some backstory. Jim has been hosting a 10am news program for the news network, and previously, acted as CNN’s chief White House correspondent for the first Trump presidency.

The White House actually revoked his press pass due to his butting heads with the President back in 2018. Keep reading to find out more… CNN apparently has decided to go through some changes.

According to reports, Jim was offered to host a new evening show at midnight ET. This is apparently seen as a worse timeslot due to the time of day, and CNN previously aired reruns during this slot.
