Max Whitlock MBE is a gymnast for Team GB, who’s been competing at this year's Tokyo Olympics. The 28 year old has five Olympic medals to his name in individual and team events, and made history at the Rio 2016 Olympics where he won the first medal in the all-around event in 108 years.
On Monday 26 July, Max and his teammates finished in fourth place in the men’s team artistic gymnastics final and he’s due to take to the pommel horse in the men’s final on Sunday 1 August.
His biggest cheerleader is his wife, Leah Hickton, who he lives with in Essex.They have a daughter together, Willow, two, and they run Max Whitlock Gymnastics.
