Manchester City were crowned champions of Europe for the first time in their history on Saturday evening after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final in Istanbul.
Midfield enforcer Rodri scored the only goal of the game with just over 20 minutes of regulation time remaining. The Blues were frustrated for long periods by Inter, who had their fair share of chances to get back into the contest in the closing stages.
Victory in Istanbul meant City equalled Manchester United's record of winning the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League in the same season, securing themselves a historic Treble.
United won each of the three aforementioned competitions back in 1998/99, winning the Champions League final in dramatic fashion against Bayern Munich.
