But the enterprising souls at ITV have made sure we'll get a reality fix by screening the first series of Love Island Australia.
Filmed in 2018, the trials and tribulations of the wannabe famous as they strive to find love will be sure to keep us entertained during lockdown.
Despite its name, the show wasn't actually filmed down under, instead all the contestants are from there. Although the sizzling sunshine seems like the perfect backdrop to some drama, the first season of the show was actually filmed in Majorca, Spain.
