Following the Queen’s funeral at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19 September a committal service was held at St George’s Chapel and her heir paid a poignant tribute to her with his seating plan. King Charles III, 73, occupied the seat at the end of the row, which was the same one her late Majesty sat in during Prince Philip’s funeral service last year.
