The Spider-Man spinoff Morbius has a confirmed release date and this time it’s official. After being postponed several times due to the pandemic it looks like fans will finally get to see Jared Leto as the titular character.
Leto is joined by Doctor Who’s Matt Smith, who plays the film’s villain Loxias Crown and Morbius' best friend, he also suffers from the same blood disease.
Set in the same universe as Venom, Tom Hardy could possibly make an appearance. Batman’s Michael Keaton is also expected to make an appearance after he appeared in a teaser clip but it’s not known who he will be playing yet.
Other cast members include The Crown’s Jared Harris who portrays Morbius’ mentor, Fast and Furious’ Tyrese Gibson plays an FBI agent whereas Adria Arjona plays the love interest and Simon Straud is on a hunt to catch Morbius.
