The latest Marvel film has been released in the UK and sees actor/musician Jared Leto (Lord of War, Dallas Buyers Club) step into the role of the franchise's most iconic anti-hero.

The film was directed by Daniel Espinosa and also stars Tyrese Gibson, Jared Harris, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith and Al Madriga.

The movie's plot sees biochemist Michael Morbius (Leto) attempt to cure himself of a rare blood disease with an experimental treatment that goes disastrously wrong.

Instead, he is left with a form of vampirism that sees unimaginable darkness unleashed within him. The film's release was delayed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic after filming was completed in 2019.
