Out-of-control-drunk acting in montage is a difficult thing to bring off – as is the representation of precarious sobriety – but she does it with intelligence and plausibility.”The Independent‘s Clarisse Loughrey also gave the film four stars, writing: “The Outrun’s true tether is Ronan, and here she works to all her greatest strengths.

The latest Marvel film has been released in the UK and sees actor/musician Jared Leto (Lord of War, Dallas Buyers Club) step into the role of the franchise's most iconic anti-hero. The film was directed by Daniel Espinosa and also stars Tyrese Gibson, Jared Harris, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith and Al Madriga.

Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas new erotic thriller Deep Water has left critics sparring ahead of its debut on Hulu on March 18.The film, which is directed by the the English thriller specialist Adrian Lyne, received praise for Affleck and de Armas' performances, which were partly filmed while the two were dating.However, several critics found the plotting to be uncharacteristically shallow compared to the filmmaker's biggest success, and some criticized it for missing the subtleties of the original novel, written by The Talent Mr. Ripley scribe Patricia Highsmith.
