The election on Thursday, May 6 comes after being postponed last year due to coronavirus. It allows the people of our region to have a say on who they think should run their local public services.
But as the pandemic persists, expect some changes to your local station as Covid-secure measures are in place. Stations are open from 7am until 10pm, so when are the results expected?
Some boroughs will begin counting on Thursday night, while others are set to wait until Friday, so some areas will find out results sooner than others.
