King Charles‘ staff at Clarence House is reportedly at risk of being let go as he transitions to Buckingham Palace.
The 73-year-old King ascended the throne after his mother Queen Elizabeth passed away at the age of 96 last week.
Charles and his wife Queen Consort, Camila will establish themselves at Buckingham Palace, which leaves both of their current staffs’ jobs in a precarious position. The letter was written by Sir Clive Alderton and read in part: “The change in role for our principals will also mean change for our household … The portfolio of work previously undertaken in this household supporting the former Prince of Wales’s personal interests, former activities and household operations will no longer be carried out, and the household … at Clarence House will be closed down.
