Actress Emilia Clarke after leading HBO’s massively popular “Game of Thrones” series, has been dabbling in other big genre projects such as “Solo: A Star Wars Story” and will be seen next year in Marvel’s big Skrull event streaming series “Secret Invasion.” However, it looks like Clarke is seeking more dramatic work with one of her next projects, which happens to be a biopic surrounding the life of an iconic literary figure.

It’s impressive to see the sheer volume and quality of genre projects with which actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (“Trial of The Chicago 7”) has been involved in such a short period. Some of them include Nia DaCosta’s “Candyman” soft-reboot, Michael Bay’s heist thriller “Ambulance,” playing a new incarnation of Morpheus in Lana Wachowski’s “The Matrix Resurrections,” a major villain in the two “Aquaman” movies from director James Wan, and earning an Emmy award for his performance on the HBO series “Watchmen.” Well, the rising star has nabbed another significant role in a comic book project.

Piers Morgan, 57, has hit out at renowned actor Bradley Whitford, 63, on Twitter after the actor warned that Elon Musk, 51, taking over the platform will be a “recipe for disaster”. In retaliation Piers, who is a self-professed fan of Elon, retaliated by calling The West Wing star a “big baby”. Elon completed his $44bn (£37.9bn) takeover of Twitter on Friday, renaming himself as "Chief Twit" on his profile. The billionaire’s purchase of the site has been controversial, leaving many worrying about the changes he plans to make to the social media platform. This morning, Bradley took to Twitter to warn about the takeover in view of his 480,700 followers. “Entitled batsh*t billionaires in charge of the public square is the opposite of freedom and a recipe for disaster,” he wrote. This evening, Piers, who only recently defended Elon, decided to hit back at the actor in front of his 7.9 million followers. Piers wrote: “As opposed to entitled batsh*t actors who - unlike @elonmusk - think any views that challenge their own woke-ravaged self-righteous rantings warrant instant cancellation? “Put your rattle back in your illiberal stroller, you big baby,” he added. Just today, Piers wrote a new column entitled “Elon Musk has exposed the woke left as a bunch of illiberal crybabies who despise free speech”.
