It’s a repeat of last year’s semi-final when the two Manchester clubs once again go head-to-head in the last four of the Carabao Cup.
Manchester City triumphed 3-2 on aggregate last year - winning 3-1 at Old Trafford before Manchester United won the second leg 1-0 - before winning the tournament for the third year in a row.
This time the semi-final will be a single-leg affair - one of the changes made to this year’s competition to help ease fixture congestion - and both managers will be allowed to make five substitutions.
The two sides met last month and played out a drab goalless draw. But, with both sides in good form and one guaranteed to make the Wembley showpiece, Wednesday’s match should make for a better spectacle.
