Pop rock star Avril Lavigne will be bringing the 2000s hits to Glastonbury on Sunday. The Canadian singer broke out into the music scene with the release of her debut single Complicated in 2002.
Her debut album, Let Go, spawned further hits with the likes of Sk8er Boi and I’m With You. To date, she’s released seven albums, with further singles including Girlfriend, My Happy Ending and When You’re Gone also proving to be big hits. READ MORE: Glastonbury announces full line-up and set times for 2024 festival Avril released her seventh album Love Sux back in 2022, which featured collaborations with Machine Gun Kelly and Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus.
Following her Glastonbury performance, Avril will headline a huge sold-out show at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on July 3 as part of the Sounds of the City summer concert series.
Jungle, Tom Grennan and Fatboy Slim will also perform during the run of shows. Avril will kick things off at 6pm on The Other Stage on Sunday (June 30).
