Music fans heading to any of this year’s Sounds of the City gigs at Castlefield Bowl this month are being offered a chance to bag a free drink in the city centre before the show.

The summer festival kicked off in spectacular style on Wednesday night (July 3) with a performance from Canadian pop-rock princess Avril Lavigne and continues this evening with American band The National.

Fatboy Slim, Jungle, Tom Grennan, the Manic Street Preachers and Suede, and Loyle Carner will also be taking to the stage throughout the next two weeks.

If you're interested, you can find drinks prices for the festival's bar areas here.
