Video footage has revealed the shocking moment screams were heard as fireworks were pelted at pedestrians in the street. The scenes unfolded at around 6.50pm on Saturday evening (October 7) near to the Asda and leisure centre in Hulme as one resident pulled out their phone to record.

Huge bangs can be heard as people are seen running away from the fireworks. A woman can be heard screaming "what the f*** are you doing?" in the distance as a number of the fireworks blast down Hulme High Street, with one appearing to only narrowly miss a pedestrian. "The same group of teenagers every Saturday night gather outside fighting with each other and being the literal definition of antisocial," they said. "Disturbances of a similar nature happen every Saturday night without fail.

I suppose this occasion was different due to it being that time of the year where fireworks are sold." They added that issues involve teenagers 'riding around on bikes' and 'screaming and fighting'.
