Freddie Flintoff is returning to TV screens after a near-fatal crash left him battling anxiety, nightmares and flashbacks. The 46-year-old suffered serious injuries when he crashed while filming Top Gear in December 2022.
The father-of-four, who began presenting the BBC One show in 2019, was airlifted to hospital with severe facial injuries and several broken ribs.
After being discharged he withdrew from the public eye and underwent months of recovery, only leaving his house for medical appointments.
Now, some 18 months after the horror crash, the former England cricketer is speaking about life after the incident for the first time in the second series of Freddie Flintoff’s Field Of Dreams On Tour airing tonight (Tuesday).
