Brandy Norwood On Returning To ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ Reboot: “We’ll See What Happens”

Brandy Norwood has heard about the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot that is in the works and is revealing if she would want to be part of it.

The Front Room star was recently asked about reprising her role in the new slasher film sequel more than 25 years after she starred in the film’s original sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. “I heard some things about,” Norwood told Entertainment Tonight. “So, hopefully.” Norwood starred in the 1998 sequel opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt as Karla Wilson, who didn’t die as “it was in the contract,” the singer and actor said. “I don’t know how she would come back,” Norwood said about potentially reprising her role. “I haven’t thought about that yet but I know that she should come back.

She should definitely come back.” Norwood said they had reached out to her about the sequel and added, “So, we’ll see what happens.” Although she hasn’t been in touch with Hewitt, Norwood said she “would love to see her” as she “was always lovely to work with.” Norwood’s other co-star, Freddie Prinze Jr., also recently revealed he was in talks about reprising his role in the reboot being directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, which is expected to open on July 18, 2025.  “I like Jen Robinson very much as a director and as a person.

I think people like her are the future of this business. So there’s a lot of good things that make me want to do the movie,” he told Us Weekly. “I’m motivated, I know they’re motivated.
