Arsenal's recent form has been patchy with two wins and three defeats from their last five Premier League games. However, they did record a 3-1 victory last weekend away at third-placed Leicester City, a result that has promoted them back into the top half of the table.
Now they go to Burnley, who also took points off the Foxes in their most recent match and go into the weekend in 15th place, six points clear of the bottom three.
Another three points for Mikel Arteta's side would send them ninth, although Aston Villa could go back ahead of the Gunners if they win the West Midlands derby against Wolves later in the day.
