Many of us dream of having a white Christmas, just like you see in the movies. Yet that’s not often the case here in Greater Manchester, where you’re probably going to get rain instead of snow.
But if you are hoping for a white Christmas, then it’s looking more likely to happen here in Manchester than in other cities including Cardiff and Liverpool, according to the latest odds.
It comes after Greater Manchester experienced some - if very fleeting - snowfall over the weekend during the recent cold snap.
There’s a 16.7per cent chance that there will be a white Christmas in Manchester this year, according to experts at OLBG, with an odds of 5/1.
