A West Lothian DJ who once played a set at the top of Scotland’s highest mountain is getting ready for his first headline show.Chrissy Meechan started out DJ-ing at birthday parties and since then has played for Red Bull at the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone and at a festival on Ben Nevis.He’s now announced his first headline show in Glasgow at the SWG3 Poetry Club, which is being promoted by DF Concerts, who look after TRNSMT, Glasgow Summer Sessions, Connect and TITP.Chrissy, from Livingston, says he can’t wait for the gig on Friday, February 23.His latest track, All Outta Love, was also released last month.He has recently been supported by BBC Introducing and Go Radio pending his new track and headline show, for which tickets are certain to fly out the door.Chrissy’s show will feature his own original tracks, his remixes and fan favourites that he has played over the years.He said: “I’ve been making my own music for a couple of years, and I think that now is the time to really share it properly with all of you.
