Wendy Williams is speaking out about what life has been like under her harsh conservatorship. In a very rare interview, the former talk show host called into The Breakfast Club on Thursday morning alongside her niece Alex Finnie to bring attention to the alleged wrongful legal situation she’s been stuck in for years.
First off, she actually sounded really with it, despite everything her guardian Sabrina Morrissey has been saying, so that was a relief.
That said, she’s clearly in distress about her current predicament and wants the public to help her get out of this mess. The 60-year-old — who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2022, per her guardian— began by explaining she’s currently being forced to live in a facility in New York where there are many elderly patients and where “nursemaids” come to her room and deliver her unknown pills.

She claims she doesn’t have a laptop and has been without full access to her phone — she allegedly can only make calls but people cannot contact her — because of her guardian (who has supposedly had control of her phone for three years), making her feel extremely isolated.
