Having been bullied for her size as a child, mum-of-two Ronnie Fennell spent her entire life trying to lose weight. The 62-year-old attempted every diet under the sun but nothing seemed to help her slim down – eventually seeing her reach a weight of 22st 10lbs.

However hard I tried, I couldn’t lose weight – I was piling it on rather than losing it. “On the day of the wedding, it was a hot day and I was trying to look my best.
