Fans and friends of a talented Manchester guitarist have raised thousands in his name after a horror car crash earlier this week left him hospitalised.
Tributes to the punk musician Miles Livingstone-Todd praised his character and his kindness, with one person calling him "the nicest bloke in hardcore." Miles remains at an Oxford intensive care unit in an induced coma following the crash.
His punk band, T.S. Warspite, have set up a fundraising page to help pay for his family's accommodation costs so that they can be near him in the likely weeks and months it will take him to recover - with an astonishing £10,000 raised in just a few hours.
More than 300 fans, as well as his fellow band members, have pored out their hearts and donated money to help Miles and his family, with bandmate Tom Pimlott donating £500 and stating "I bloody love that man," in the hours after the news broke.
