Dozens of new affordable homes could be built in Ashton following an application for a three-storey apartment block. On what is currently used as a car park off Stamford Street Central in Ashton could see a huge block of flats erected.
The block would contain 35 flats, 33 of which would be one-bedrooms with another two containing two bedrooms. The current parking facility at the site would be reduced from 50 spaces to 13 - once the development is completed. There would also be cycle storage for 35 bicycles.
