West Ham currently sit two points ahead of United and occupy the fourth place spot in the league table, but a win on Saturday for the Reds will put Rangnick’s side a point ahead of the Hammers with a game in hand.
United got back to winning ways in their last outing, as goals from Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford handed United a 3-1 victory away to Brentford, and the Reds will be looking to carry their momentum into the big clash on Saturday.
The reverse fixture saw David De Gea save a late penalty to hand United a 2-1 win, but a lot has changed at the club since, with that victory the last time United were genuinely considered title challengers.
