Dancing on Ice star Chemmy Alcott has opened up on the loss of her former ice skating partner Sean Rice following his death last month.Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the record-breaking skier, 39, reflected on her relationship with Sean, who she was paired with a decade ago when she competed on the seventh series of the popular ITV show.Speaking about the death of the ice skating pro, Chemmy spoke candidly about the effect Sean had on her life.She said: "It's crazy.
I mean, we fell out of contact, but we were a massive part of each other's lives."Chemmy went on to credit Sean with helping her make her return to the Sochi Winter Olympics after she suffered an injury two years before taking part in the ITV show.She went on: "He really, really helped me and he was an incredible healer getting me back to the Olympics."The skier also said that Sean and his wife Jodeyne came to her wedding to alpine ski racer Dougie Crawford, in 2014."And yeah, it was just, I mean, he's only 49," she added.The sportswoman said that she had contacted Sean's wife following his death.She said: "I've reached out to Jodeyne and I've been having a few like chit chats with her, just ready to check in."I still don't know what's happened.
