Korn played ‘Hey Daddy’ live on tour for the first time in 25 years last week – watch footage of the song below.The nu-metallers kicked off their autumn tour of North America on Thursday (September 12) and surprised fans by playing the track, a deep cut from their 1999 album ‘Issues’.
In fact, according to Setlist.fm, they’d previously only played it once live.The band began their show at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida, with their 2002 single ‘Here To Stay‘, before surprising with another seldom played track – ‘Dead Bodies Everywhere‘, from the 1998 album ‘Follow The Leader‘.
It was the first time the song had been played since 2019.Meanwhile, ‘Oildale (Leave Me Alone)’, a 2010 single from the album ‘Korn III: Remember Who You Are‘, was played for the first time since 2012.
They all look to be mainstays for this tour, however, as the band played them all again on September 14 at their West Palm Beach show, the second of the tour.It wasn’t all surprises, however, with plenty of Korn classics on the setlist.
