Dua Lipa has performed a cover of AC/DC‘s ‘Highway To Hell’ in Melbourne, Australia – check out footage of the performance below.Last night (March 17), Dua Lipa kicked off her Australia and New Zealand tour.
It marked the first of five shows at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. To celebrate the commencement of her shows down under, she paid homage to one of Australia’s biggest bands, rock legends AC/DC.Early into her set, Dua Lipa performed a rousing cover of ‘Highway To Hell’, sandwiched between ‘These Walls’ and ‘Maria’.
She said while introducing the cover: “I thought why not do a new song every night from a local artist from every place we’re in.
Obviously Australia has an abundance of amazing musicians, so we thought we’d go really big from the very beginning. If you know it, sing it.”The pop star will hit the road in the UK this summer, kicking off the run with two huge concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium (June 20, 21) followed by two dates at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 24 and 25.
