Hatate stepped up to be penalty taker after Daizen Maeda won a penalty off some shoddy defending.Joe Hart then made a stop from 12-yards of his own after a stramash in the box prompted the referee to point to the spot.
Abada finished off a fine team move that was started by Yuki Kobayashi and more dodgy defending from Portimonense allowed Summers to show his potential and find the net.
