Warner Bros. Discovery to Launch Max in Turkey on April 15 With Plans to Ramp Up Turkish Originals

Nick Vivarelli International Correspondent Warner Bros. Discovery premium streaming service Max is set to launch in Turkey on April 15 in a key transition under which Turkish streamer BluTV is being rebranded and will morph into Max.

Warner Bros. Discovery underlined that Max is now committed to increasing its investment in local productions with new Turkish streaming originals added to the platform in coming months.

The new Turkish streamer will leverage BluTV’s local standing and combine it with a richer content lineup combining global hits from HBO and Max Originals, alongside BluTV’s Turkish originals.

Subscribers to Max in Turkey will also have access to Eurosport, Cartoon Network and Cartoonito, CNN International, and Discovery+ shows.
