Warner Bros. Discovery Appoints Allan Sperling as Group Vice President of Programming, Networks and Streaming in Nordics

variety.comNick Vivarelli International Correspondent Warner Bros. Discovery has appointed veteran executive Allan Sperling as its new group vice president of programming, networks and streaming in the Nordic region.
Sperling, who previously held prominent roles at MultiChoice Group and Showmax in South Africa as well as at Viacom International in London and Amsterdam, will be based out of Stockholm.
He will be overseeing strategic program planning and operations for the company’s channel portfolios across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
More specifically, Sperling “will be instrumental in shaping the vision and strategic direction for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Nordic channels and platforms,” according to a statement.
