Yes, we do mean that kind. Wet look hair has long been a look favoured by several A-list celebrities, from Kim and Kourtney Kardashian to Megan Fox and Zendaya.

Now, a video by creator @edelydesigns has racked up more than three million views on the app after she claimed that lube was the celebrity hairdresser’s secret to the red carpet trend. “Apparently celebrity hairstylists use LUBE for the wet hair look to last all night long!” she captions the video before trying the method out for herself. “I HAVE WONDERED HOW TO DO THIS FOR YEARS!!!” one commented with the mind blown emoji. “Me discovering the John Frieda serum in 2001,” another joked. “I did this in high school because I thought it was hair oil for months and my parents died laughing.
