Viola Davis is receiving a huge honor. The 59-year-old actress will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2025 Golden Globes, awards organizers confirmed Wednesday (November 20).

She won her first Golden Globe for her role in 2016′s Fences, in the category of Best Supporting Actress. Here’s more about the award, via Variety: “First created in 1952 and honoring the eponymous director, the Cecil B.
