Ruben Amorim's gentleman's agreement with Sporting CP may hint towards his long-term plan for Manchester United, as Randal Kolo Muani emerges as a loan option this month.

Unfortunately, he has entered into a tight situation where departures must first happen at Man United before new signings can be made.
He has also given his word to former club Sporting that he will not target any of his old players this month. "I’m not going to sign anyone from Sporting in January," was his parting promise, though added: "But I don’t know what I’m going to do in the summer." Negating both problems is Kolo Muani - linked with a short-term loan on the back of struggles at Paris Saint-Germain. MEN Sport understands the club have not ruled out a move before the window shuts.
