Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford sent a message of support to his teammates on Instagram after being left out of the squad to face Rangers.
The 27-year-old has dominated transfer talk throughout January after signalling his desire for a new challenge last month. Sources have clarified that the attacker has not declared himself unavailable, undertaking extra sessions, and featured in training as part of their preparations for the Scottish Premiership side.
His omission on Thursday was the sixth consecutive time that he was left out of the starting XI with his future remaining uncertain.
Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have all been rumoured to hold an interest in the England international - while Rashford has turned down approaches from Saudi Arabia and Turkey this month.
