Women’s health campaigner Vicky Phelan joined Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show on Friday night for a powerful interview ahead of a nerve-wrecking trip to the US this weekend.
The CervicalCheck campaigner will be travelling solo to Maryland this Sunday to take part in a clinical trial that, if successful, will prolong her life.
Vicky, who was given a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2018 after receiving a false negative smear test, will be in Maryland for up to six months for groundbreaking immunotherapy treatment.
