Following the success of the Beckham documentary series on Netflix back in 2023, Victoria is now hoping to 'emulate' her husbands success and wants to be 'someone people can relate to' as she offers a rare insight into her own career in a brand new Netflix series.
A source has revealed Victoria "wants people to see that fun-loving mum, wife and businesswoman." Netflix is said to be putting the final touches on the docuseries and a teaser post said: “In the most Posh news ever, a Victoria Beckham documentary series is now in production. The series will follow her reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand – offering exclusive access to Victoria, her fashion and beauty business, and her never-before-seen archives.” If successful, the series could elevate Victoria's popularity in America to match her adoration in Britain.
However, if it fails to hit the mark, it could turn out to be a PR nightmare rather than the career boost she's aiming for. According to a source, Victoria is "desperate" for her upcoming reality TV show to be a success. They revealed: "She thinks and hopes it’s going to go really well, but with this kind of TV there is always a risk that it might backfire in some way," adding, "Perhaps some people might not find her funny, or warm." The yet-to-be-named series, produced by David's own Studio 99, will delve into Victoria's career and her time under the global spotlight.
Although the focus will be on Victoria, it's believed she won't be directly interviewed. This isn't the first time Victoria has lifted the veil from an aspect of her life or work.
