The Spice Girls legend, 47, discussed her and the former footballer's, 46, previous outfits at the start of their relationship during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Victoria said: "It just seemed like a really good idea at the time. "It really did. I think there was a naivety then, we didn't know about fashion.
