Victoria Beckham has taken to Instagram today, and addressed the devastating death of her friend and fashion power-house, André Leon Talley.The wife of footballer David Beckham, 47, reacted following the tragic news that the former Vogue creative director had died while sharing a sweet throwback snap of herself with the star.In view of her 29.4 million followers, the fashion designer penned a brief tribute to the icon.Taking to her stories, Victoria wrote: "We'll all miss you so much @andreltalley."The mother-of-four posted a throwback snap of herself with Talley and fashion designer Marc Jacobs.In the snap from 2008, Talley sported a smile and could be seen sitting down while Victoria and Marc sat on each of his legs.The Vogue icon had his arms wrapped affectionately around the fashion designers as Marc leaned in and Victoria placed her left hand on top of Talley's.The fashion world was plunged into mourning following the devastating news of the star's death at the age of 73, whose death was announced today.TMZ reported he died at White Plains Hospital from an unknown illness.Talley served as Vogue’s first ever African-American creative director and editor-at-large from 1988 to 1995.He was appointed to the role by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.Talley was a former judge on America’s Next Top Model and was known for his eye-catching outfits.He previously worked at Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine and Women’s Wear Daily before he joined Vogue in 1983 as the magazine's fashion news director.There, he quickly made it through the ranks and Talley became Wintour's right hand.He left Vogue in 1995 and moved to Paris, where he returned to W Magazine after working at the publication earlier in his career.But he didn’t cut.
