BBC Radio 2 host Vernon Kay was worried he was going to "get grief" from his Strictly wife Tess Daly after making an embarrassing confession about their daughter.
Speaking live on air earlier today (January 15) about how he had the fortune of meeting star actor Timothee Chalamet, Vernon admitted that his comments may land him in hot water with his wife.
Adopting a somewhat comedic tone, the radio DJ revealed how the situation began, as he said: "He did me a favour last night did big Tim, having his picture taken with our Amber." However, despite his good deed yesterday, he admitted that "Timothee might be Amber's first crush".
He quickly added how he is expecting instant backlash for broadcasting his daughter's secret live on air: "I'll get grief now from Tess now saying 'you've really embarrassed her, saying that Timothee Chalamet is her first crush'." Meanwhile, Timothee caught those in attendance at the A Complete Unknown film premiere by surprise last night (January 14).
