Long-term partner Ben Ofoedu cheated on the ITV star, leaving her feeling "betrayed and panic stricken."The 61-year-old, who regularly appears on This Morning, decided to sign herself up for Celebs Go Dating after Ben, 51, had been unfaithful multiple times throughout their relationship.The pair first met back in 2005 at a Christmas party, with their whirlwind romance seeing them engaged just a year after dating.
Vanessa and Ben planned to tie the knot the following year however their troubles never saw them make it down the aisle.Although her stint on the Channel 4 dating show didn't help her find the love of her life, it certainly gave her a zest for life again.
And she has credited the show with restoring her confidence and faith in love."I have been, I think it’s on public record, a rotten picker.
