dailyrecord.co.ukVakoun Bayo has completed his Parkhead exit for KAA Gent. The striker walked out of the Ivory Coast Olympic football squad to enter into talks to clinch a move away from Scotland for Belgium.
He has signed for an undisclosed fee until 2025 having struggled for form and game during his time at Celtic. He has made just nine league appearances in two seasons, failing to score a Premiership goal, before being loaned out to France last summer.
New Parkhead boss Ange Postecoglou allowed the striker to join up with the international side rather than join up for pre-season, signalling he was not a part of his plans.
Bayo impressed during his loan spell in Ligue 2 with 12 goals, including one in the playoff defeat to Nantes that denied the French.
