A young boy remains in a coma following a devastating M6 crash that claimed the life of his mother. Seven-year-old Arran Martin is fighting for survival in hospital while his dad keeps a bedside vigil "day and night".
The tragic accident happened in Cumbria on Tuesday, October 15. Emergency services, including two air ambulances, responded to the head-on collision between a Skoda and a Toyota just beyond Tebay services.
Arran was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, but sadly, his mother, 33-year-old Jade McEnroe, her partner Jaroslaw Rossa, 42, and his two sons, Filip, 15, and Dominic, seven, all died at the scene.
It's believed that the family were returning to Glasgow from Legoland in the Toyota when the incident occurred. READ MORE: Firefighter, 44, died due to cocaine after day out drinking with colleagues The Skoda driver, a 40-year-old man from Cambridgeshire, also died in the crash.
