A Broadway revival of Anton Chekhov’s classic Uncle Vanya, with a new translation by playwright Heidi Schreck, will be staged this spring by Lincoln Center Theater.

Lila Neugebauer (The Waverly Gallery) will direct. Uncle Vanya will begin previews at LCT’s Vivian Beaumont Theater on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, ahead of an official opening night on Wednesday, April 24.

Schreck is best known for her critically acclaimed play What the Constitution Means to Me, which was nominated for two Tony Awards for its sold-out 2019 Broadway run.

The play, which Shreck wrote and performed, was subsequently staged at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the Mark Taper Forum, and other venues.
