A man has appeared in court charged with committing various terrorism offences in Scotland following an investigation by Police Scotland.

The 21-year-old, who is understood to be a Ukrainian refugee faced four charges under the same section of the Terrorism Act 2000.The section states that "a person commits an offence if" they "collect or make a record of information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism".The section in question - 58(1)(a/b) - also states that it is an offence for someone to be in possession of "a document or record containing information of that kind".
