UKHSA issues 'stay at home' warning for anyone experiencing these three symptoms

Brits should to stay at home for 48 hours if they notice any of three specific symptoms, urged by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA).

It comes as cases of norovirus, or the winter vomiting bug, are above the average for this time of year. In the last UKHSA report which looks at norovirus activity, cases were more than double the five-season average for the same time period.

Government agency UKHSA’s five-season average is a benchmark that calculates the average rates of illnesses over the past five seasons to provide a standard for comparing current seasonal trends in public health.

UKHSA took to social media to warn people what symptoms to look out for and how to avoid spreading the highly infectious illness.
