The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a warning about the mpox virus after the latest data showed an increase in cases.
A further 10 cases of mpox, previously known as monkeypox, have been diagnosed in the UK in the last three weeks, according to an update published on Thursday (May 25).
This brings the total number of new cases in the UK since the beginning of the year to 20. All the cases were diagnosed within London, with half of them in unvaccinated individuals and two in people who had only received one dose of the vaccine.
